William Henry Timmerman Jr, born in Salt Lake City on June 4, 1937 passed on October 20,2022 while at home after a long battle with Leukemia and Multiple Myeloma.  He was 85.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents William Sr and his mother Alta née Cummings and survived by: his wife of 56 years Michele; his daughter Shaunna (Eli Johnson) and children Natalie (Ben) Edmondsun, Mikaila (Jordan) Duke, Bryce (Michele), Ericka, Ben; his son Lance (Holly) and children Brionna, Skyler, Bianca; his son Clinton (Kelly), Jack, Alice and Baby T; sister Bonnie (Ralph Glover); and great grand children Emma, Jane, Odin, and William.

Born in Salt Lake City, Bill grew up in Richland, WA and graduated from Richland High School in 1955.  Go bombers.  After attending Brigham Young University for 2 years, Bill served a mission for his church in the Netherlands Amsterdam mission for two and a half years. While getting his degree in finance at BYU, Bill served the Army reserves and spent 2 years at Fort Lewis.

He fell head over heels for Michele Armstrong in 1965 while starting his career at Walker Bank in Salt Lake City.  After wedded bliss in 1966, they moved to Redmond, WA to start with the Boeing corporation.  Minutes after clocking in on his first day, he knew he needed to continue his education and soon started his program at the Foster School of Business to start his banking career.  In 1967 his world went upside down with the birth of his daughter Shaunna, but was righted in 1970 with the birth of his son Lance.  Clinton eventually came on scene in 1977, but the family doesn't talk about that.  Don't make it weird.

Banking was a great career, but at one point he was at a single desk while working for Rainier Bank, Seafirst Bank, West One, and finally US Bank.  He retired from banking in 2007.

He enjoyed time with his family in a variety of ways.  Initially they all went camping frequently, but unpredictable weather of the NW and a dislike of lye soap lead to a passion of boating in the San Juan Islands, often for the last week of July and first week of August each summer.  Alpine skiing was his winter passion, and taking the family on ski vacations was an annual ritual.

Bill's dedication to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints lead to many callings, opportunities, and blessings.  He served in bishoprics and high councils in many wards and stakes and always loved his ward families.

A viewing will be held at 10:30 am Saturday October 29 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 7720 126 ^th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98033. Funeral service will follow at 11:30 at the same location followed by refreshments.
