Vaivasa was born on September 28th, 1957 to Toa and Seirosa Panapa in Fagamalo, Savai'i. She left us to be with the Lord on October 6th, 2024.

Vaivasa's life journey touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of strength and resilience. Her unwavering spirit in the face of adversity will continue to be an inspiration to all who knew her.

Vaivasa is survived by her three children, Benjamin (Shelly), Liliokalani, Malefai Jr.;  her ten grandchildren, Seilosa, Sau, Leilani, Jeremiah, William, Josiah, Uriah, Toa, Xzaivion and Malachi; her sister, Lili'a (Walter); her brother Fagamalofou. She will be remembered for her compassion, love for others and love for God.

Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
