It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Tammie Marie Wright on July 15, 2024, at the age of 61. She was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, whose absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her.

Born on August 20, 1962, in Seattle, Washington, Tammie was the daughter of Henry and Mildred Wright. She cherished her time with family and friends, always demonstrating a protective nature towards them. Tammie had a passion for movies and music and enjoyed engaging in lively games of pinochle. Her love for children and her ability to bring joy and laughter to those around her were hallmarks of her character. Additionally, Tammie had a passion for cooking and enjoyed entertaining when the opportunity arose. Tammie was known as a hard worker and took great pride in any task or work she performed.

Tammie was preceded in death by her father, Henry, who passed away in 2015. She will be fondly remembered by her mother, Mildred; brother Greg Wright (Julie) and their children Ashley and Seon; brother Kenny Wright (Shelly) and their children Simone, Andrew, Brady, and Cody; sister Robbin Parsley (Greg) and their children Marissa and Holly; sister Lori Wright and her children Katie and Sarah, numerous great nieces and nephews, as well as her loving friends Angela Ruth and Marilyn Steen.

A graveside service, honoring the life of Tammie, will be held at 11am, Friday, September 13, 2024 at Old Tacoma Cemetery (4801 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma, Washington).
