Suzanne Lynn Lackman passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024 at the age of 82 after a five-year battle against dementia.

Suzanne spent a majority of her life in University Place, Washington, where she is remembered for her dedication to family, friends, church, and community. She was married to Frank Underwood a few years after high school. Together they raised a son and daughter. Enjoying 23 years together ending in divorce.

Suzanne graduated from PLU during her middle years and started a successful career in Interior Design.  Soon after, she married her second husband Ernie Lackman. Her strong Christian faith led her to playing many different roles in her church; University Place Presbyterian Church (UPPC) such as: Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Pastor Seeking Committee, Quilter's Club and clerical work for the church office. She was also an active member of the North End Rotary Club, where she did various charitable works. In addition, she was deeply involved with her neighbors, Day Island President, and long-time member of the Reading Club.

Suzanne is survived by son Keith (MaryJo), daughter Lisa (Tim), two granddaughters Jessica and Madeline (Jacob) and great grandson Brady.

Her Celebration Of Life will be held at 2 pm on January 12, 2025 at UPPC. Donations can be made to UPPC's preschool program."
