Susan Ruge was an 83 years young Japanese girl.  Susan enjoyed bowling so much so that for a time she was on 2 leagues: Tanpopo Senior Woman and a travel league.  From 2004 to 2017 she played, and everyone wanted Susan on their team. Susan was very good at everything she did in her life.

Susan worked so hard, it's amazing now to think back on her life knowing she enjoyed doing the best job she could.  Susan loved cooking yummy Japanese food. She did all the cooking and dishes.  She even continued to clean her own bathroom after every shower, despite her age, all while on oxygen.   She never got upset over the oxygen line hanging off her pretty little face for the three years she had it and that alone is amazing to me.

Susan loved to go salmon fishing, and everyone loved Susan's smoked salmon. After fishing in 2017, Susan found out she had lung cancer.  Susan didn't feel well before we went fishing but she still wanted to go!  The lung cancer came back in 2019 and Susan had to go on oxygen 2020.  Susan also beat breast cancer years ago.  Susan was able to beat cancer three times but then she got pneumonia.  She was fighting it well until her lung collapsed and that was all Susan could take this time around. Susan was ready to go to heaven, and I think heaven was ready for Susan.

She took her place in heaven on June 9, 2023.  Susan wanted to keep her passing to only a few close friends.  Susan will be missed by her friends and family, and by her loving partner Bill.  Susan and Bill were each other's whole lives in so many ways.  It was only the two of them after they lost their dogs in the last two years as well, and this strengthened their bond.
Susan loved her dogs. She had four of them from the time she and Bill were together: Candy, Neon, Candy, and Baby.  Susan enjoyed taking them for walks around the neighborhood, and when the pair would get done with fishing, she would want to take the kids for their walks around Sekiu.

I love you Susan. I will miss you more each day until I get to see you again, Love Bill.
