Susan Campbell Pratt died in her Arizona home on January 16, 2023.

Susan was born on May 12, 1944, in Portland, Oregon, to Dr. Robert Campbell and Janet Campbell. Susan grew up in Walla Walla within a large extended family. Born into a pioneering family, her great, great grandfather founded Baker Boyer National Bank, the oldest bank in the Northwest Territory. Susan attended St. Paul's Episcopal School for Girls.  She later graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, where she was affiliated with Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and served as president.  Susan went on to teach second grade in the Shoreline School District.  Later, she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Puget Sound College of Law.

Susan served the community in many ways. She served as President of the nonprofit First Place For Kids and was a founding director of both the Carol Milgard Breast Cancer Center and Breast Cancer Resource Center.  Susan was also director of Baker Boyer National Bank for 30 years as well as a trustee of the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health System and on the Whitman College Alumni Board.  She also served as an Assistant Attorney General for the state of Washington throughout her legal practice.

Susan had a great love of traveling the world and loved adventures with her family and friends. She endured many health battles in her lifetime and faced them all with grace.

Susan is survived by her loving husband, Gregory H. Pratt; their son, Jason Pratt (Jenn), and daughter Jennifer Tuininga (Bradley); four granddaughters, Nora and Teagan Pratt, and Campbell and Elise Tuininga, all of whom she absolutely treasured; and her sister Cathryn Allen (John).  Susan is predeceased by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Campbell, and her brother, Craig Campbell (Brian).

Memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 10th, 1:00pm at Chambers Creek Chapel at New Tacoma Cemetery in University Place.  Her remains will be placed at the family plot in Baker Circle at Mountain View Cemetery in Walla Walla, Washington. Memorial donations may be made to Franciscan Hospice.
