Born in Long Beach, California on February 21st, 1946 and died of a lingering illness on January 7, 2025.

She is survived by her husband Milford, a son - Michael, daughters Margaret and Diana, and grandchildren Jay and Evie.

A precocious child, she was often the bane of her mother and also a one time runner up to Miss California.

She moved to Washington in 1970 with her husband and son and quickly fell in love with the mountains and forests and could often be found sitting in a mountain stream sorting rocks. She often brought several hundred pounds of them home. her love of nature led her to photography and meditation.

Although she would complain about the family dogs if we were down to only one or two she would say the house felt empty.

As it does now.

Her ashes will be spread at one of her favorite creeks.
