On April 17th, 2026 at 7:55PM my Dad took his last breath here on earth and entered into the presence of God in heaven. He was surrounded by all three of us. He was dad, husband, uncle, brother, friend as well as grandpa to Little Carol & Danny -- 84 years of awesomeness!! We love you Dad!! If you confess with your lips that Jesus Christ is Lord & Savior & believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. - ROMANS 10:9

Stuart Yarnell Rehnstrom was born November 18th, 1941, in Portland, OR to Seth 'Bud' & Irene Rehnstrom.  He is also survived by his wife, Pam Rehnstrom of 59 years and his two sisters, Kay & Barbie.  He has one son and one daughter, Scott & Kirsten respectively.  Dad was married to Mom for almost 60 years this July!!  They married in 1966.

Dad was a gymnast, swimmer & diver throughout high school & college and enjoyed hot rods in his latter years.  He earned his B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from WSU, 1964.  He also had an affinity for music, particularly the blues.  The drums & harmonica he did play and he enjoyed it very much!  He was an airline pilot for TWA for 30 years attaining the rank of captain.  He also received the Pilot Of The Year award from TWA in 1975 -- outstanding accomplishment Dad!!

He was a strong Christian man as well as being an elder at Grace Community Church in Lake Forest, CA.  This is where the family grew up.  Dad led hundreds to Christ through his lay evangelism calls.  He was principled & respected throughout the church.  In addition, he taught us kids the value of hard work and self-sufficiency as it applies to all aspects of life.

His nickname was "Road" because he spent 30 years on the road and also because we took family trips up to Oregon & Washington in our motor home to visit family -- 1977 to 1987 (some of our fondest memories).
