Obituary

Steve Farvour was born in Tacoma March 1 st 1972 and passed away suddenly at his home in Seattle on March 31 st 2023. He is survived by his children Henry Lee Farvour and Katelyn Hope Farvour; his sister Michelle (Farvour) Howins; parents Vern and Gay Farvour; nephews Jordan Perrone and Noah Howins; and life-long best friend David Landis. Steve was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him. Born and raised in Tacoma he graduated from Stadium High school in 1990. As a child he grew up in an era when kids walked to school, played with their friends outside with summertime rules that you came in when the street lights came on. He was quiet as a child but outgoing and fun loving with his friends. He loved playing with Lego, and spent hours creating objects, solving problems and exercising his mind. After graduation from high school he wanted to work in his father's cabinet shop. As parents we told him first he must graduate from college. From Central to Saint Martin's, then at Tacoma Community College he discovered his true career path from a calculus professor. True to Steve he said "Dad, I want to be an engineer". He proceeded to enroll at the University of Washington , and rented an apartment in Seattle, all before being accepted into the engineering department. Once Steve knew what he wanted, he was supremely confident in his ability to achieve his goal. Steve spent the major part of his working career at PCS Structural Engineers. A world class company that he cared for, loved, and to whom he gave in his working life, his all.

Steve's greatest love was for his two children, Katelyn and Henry. I know that from above, he's telling you that you were in his thoughts every day of his life, and that you have his eternal love.

You will always be in our hearts and thoughts. Until we meet again.
