Skylar Marrisa Thornburg

In the early morning hours of October 19, 2025, the world met our daughter Skylar Marissa Thornburg. She came into our arms breathing, radiant, and perfect—a tiny heartbeat full of courage. For thirty-three sacred minutes of life, Skylar knew only love. While her daddy made sure she and her mommy were safe, Skylar rested in the warmth of her mommy's embrace, before being carried gently into heaven.

Skylar is the deeply loved daughter of Ashleigh and Michael Thornburg, and the cherished little sister of Ryleigh Emelia Thornburg, who we know welcomed her with open arms into heaven. Though her time on earth was brief, Skylar's presence has forever changed our hearts. Her strength reminded us that love transcends time, her spirit reminds us that life's smallest moments can hold infinite beauty, and her memory will continue to guide us with light and grace.

Skylar will be laid to rest on November 7, 2025, at New Tacoma Cemetery and Funeral Home, 9212 Chambers Creek Rd W, Tacoma, WA 98467. Her life will be celebrated in a service with family and friends, and her memory will be honored each day in the hearts of those who love her. In her short but powerful life, Skylar brought heaven a little closer to earth.
