Sandra Lee
Woolcock
Nov 3, 1942 — Nov 15, 2025
Vancouver
Sandra Lee Woolcock, 83, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, in Vancouver, Washington. Her life's journey was marked by both challenges and triumphs, and she will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family. Sandra's strength, infectious laughter, and enduring faith in the goodness of life touched all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and hope that will continue to inspire those closest to her.
Sandra was born in Tacoma, Washington, on November 3, 1942, to Edward and Lynn Wear. As the daughter of a military family, she spent her childhood living in various places around the world before eventually returning to Tacoma. She later married Ron Woolcock and moved to Spokane to begin a new chapter together. Ron brought his son, Ron Jr., into their marriage, and soon after, the couple welcomed their sons, Sean and Chad.
In her younger years, Sandra enjoyed the outdoors—waterskiing, camping, and cross-country skiing. Time with family was always at the heart of her happiness. After retiring, she discovered a new passion for quilting, sharing countless hours with her sister Linda. Sandra's dedication extended beyond her home; she earned a bachelor's degree in finance and built a successful career in the banking and investment industry, where her professionalism and integrity left a lasting impression.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lynn Wear; her brothers, Larry Davis and Terry Wear; and her young son, Sean, who passed away at the age of 3.
Sandra is survived by her sons, Ron Woolcock Jr. and Chad Woolcock; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She also leaves behind her sister, Linda Possin. Sandra will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the caregivers who supported her with compassion.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12, at 2:00 p.m. at New Tacoma Cemetery and Funeral Home, located at 9212 Chambers Creek Road W, University Place, Washington 98467. Sandra will be laid to rest beside her parents.
