Ronald "Ronnie" Lewis Hall passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2023, at the age of 77.

Ronnie loved the Beach Boys and the beach, and he would often begin his stories with "It was 1967, the summer of love...". He was born on May 30, 1946, in California. However, his childhood was spent in Lakewood, WA, where he attended Hudtloff Junior High and Clover Park High School. He was voted "Class Clown" and excelled as a wrestler.

After enlisting in the army at the age of 21, Ronnie fought in Vietnam and returned home with a Purple Heart. He later utilized the GI Bill to study anthropology at the University of Puget Sound and Western Washington University.

Ronnie spent most of his adult life in California, working in various jobs that involved interacting with people. He was known for remembering people's names and charming others with his big personality, goofy jokes, and deep, loud voice. In his later years, Ronnie's children moved him back to Washington, where he needed more care. He then lived at the Community Living Center at the VA at American Lake, where he enjoyed fishing, singing, watching birds and deer, and walking in the garden.

Ronnie is survived by his four children, Ronald Matthew Hall, Timothy Michael Hall, Lindsay Brooke Webster, Joshua Jay Hall, and his dozen grandchildren. He was laid to rest at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA, with Military Honors.
