Roger Thomas Reagan
May 7, 1942 to June 3, 2025
Born to Thomas & Dorris (Lowry) Reagan

Retired from Boeing after various managerial positions, Roger started his career very early as a clerk at Plant II and worked two jobs to support a new wife, Darlene, at a young age, having had two beautiful daughters, Dorinda and Dorlita.  A devoted father, they enjoyed family life especially on the water where Roger enjoyed time on water skis. He also ran several 5k and 10ks along with at least two Seattle Marathons. Roger also loved fishing with his buddies from work and would spend time off shore charter fishing.

In 1977 when his mother passed on, Roger took guardianship of his two brothers from her second marriage. Eric and Shane (Gino) who were already integrated in the family came to live with Roger's two daughters. Roger would take them to the then cabin on Anderson Island where they would help and play on the lake.

A passion for anything sweet, rocky road was his favorite ice cream although anything with sugar was never passed up!

There wasn't anything Roger couldn't take apart and not put together. He loved to tinker and fix things, but was a great procrastinator, although he did eventually finish their home on Anderson Island. With present wife Amy, Roger enjoyed cruising on their boat to the San Juan Islands with the yacht club and eventually driving throughout the west coast in their motor home and being dragged to dog shows with her.

Fast forward, with daughters grown, Roger has four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and is survived by present wife, Amy of 33 years, daughters Dorinda & Dorlita (Mitch), younger brothers Shane (Gino) Amodei (Kathy), Eric Amodei (Tanya) and former wife, Darlene Reagan. Roger was preceded in death by his younger brother, Michael and sister, Karyl.

Sadly, Roger was diagnosed with Alzheimer disease and thus began the slow decline of this awful disease. Not recognizing the early signs of memory loss, it was blamed to just normal aging but it began to show the symptoms of something more serious. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer Association in Roger's memory.

Services to be held on June 16, 2025 at 12:00 PM at New Tacoma Cemetery located at 9212 Chambers Creek Road West in University Place, WA. No graveside service at this time.

Burial will be held on Anderson Island at a later date.
