Robert Lee Grace was born July 7, 1959, to the late Columbia and Annie Grace Sr. in Tacoma, WA. Robert was educated in the Tacoma School System. He was the fourth oldest of eight children. Robert was married to Doreen Danielson, and from that union, Robert Jr. was born.

Robert was a free-spirited person who was loved by everyone he met. Robert enjoyed fishing, repairing automobiles, gardening, landscaping, and carpentry. He was very creative and strong-willed.

He leaves to cherish his memory: son Robert Grace-Danielson (Heather), grandson Robert Danielson III, two brothers Eddie (Eddie Mae), Columbia Jr., and five sisters Annette Holland,  and Claudette (Larry) Moore. Bert (Johnny) Henderson, Judy (Anthony) Robinson, Jackie (David) Word, his aunts Pearl Hatter-Biggs and Rose Hatter,  and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
