Bob was born on December 15, 1934, in Tacoma, WA. His parents were Lucile and Henry Cudney.  He had two siblings, Dorothy and Gerald Cudney.  He attended Fern Hill Elementary School, Stewart Junior High and Lincoln High School, from which he graduated in 1952.

He sold paper products from 1952 until 1978.  Following that, he built houses until the time of his retirement.

He was married three times.  Three daughters came from his first marriage to Vera which ended in divorce.  His second marriage to Marlyn lasted twenty-one years and ended when his wife died from cancer.  His third marriage to Ruth lasted nearly nine years.

Bob was a member of the Baptist Church for many years.  Since his marriage to Ruth, he joined her as a member of the Lutheran Church, and is currently a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth and his daughters Kathleen Rice, Wendy (George) Ball and Shelly (John Shubeck) Williams.  His three stepsons are Thomas Myers and his friend Cathy, Jerrold (Janice) Myers, and Jon (Annette) Myers. Also surviving him is his brother, Gerald (Jo) Cudney.

Bob has 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
