Raisa S. Demchenkova,62, passed away in Bowling Green, MO on August 30, 2022. She was born in Dalisichi,Bryanskaya Oblast, Russia to Stepan A. Babin and Valentina S. Babina. Raisa attended school in Russia, along with her nine siblings in Urkraine. Raisa and Mikhail D. Demchenkov were united in marriage on June 5, 1987 in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. To this union were born; Igor, Oleg, David, Dennis, Artem, Daniel and Anya. Raisa and Mikhail raised their family in the Tacoma, Washington area. Raisa was a devoted caretaker for her parents and also worked as a pre-school teacher. She was a devoted spouse and mother , who enjoyed cooking for her large family. Raisa enjoyed nature and love animals, she often took walks with her family and friends. Her prayer groups were an important part of her life and she was very devoted to them. She could be described as; kind, authentic, free-spirited and honest. Raisa and her family moved from Russia to the Ukraine initially and then to Tacoma, Washington in 1999. She loved her family and their needs were always first for her. Raisa will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her 10 children; Igor and wife Julia Demchenkov of Lexington, Kentucky, Oleg Demchenkov of Japan, David and wife Natasha Demchnekov of Lynnwood, Washington, Dennis and wife Luda Demchenkov of Payallup, Washington, Artem Demchenkov of Bowling Green, Missouri, Daniel Demchenkov of Tacoma, Washington and Anya Demchenkov of Tacoma, Washington, grandchildren, Timothy, Camilla, Sergey, Lydia, Fedor, Ruth, Joseph and Isiah and Victoria, siblings; Galina and husband Steve Wood, her twin brother, Vladimir and wife Luba Babin, Nikolay and wife Tanya Babin, Tamara and husband Nikolay Lapina, Pavel and wife Lena Babin, Mikhail and wife Olga Babin, Yuriy and wife Sveltlana Babin, Nina and Alexander Tupikova and Nina's twin brother, Alexander and wife Tanya Babin, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Raisa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mikhail in August 2012, and her parents.
