Phyllis Lovey Joseph

Age 89 of Lakewood, WA, Phyllis passed away on March 3, 2024, peacefully with her family by her side. Phyllis was born on March 4, 1934, in Nebraska. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Willie Lee Joseph."

She is survived by her two sons; Michael and Timothy, and five daughters; Linda, Debra, Phyllis, Mary, and Denise. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Phyllis, aka Mother, was a loving wife, mother, wonderful cook, aspiring artist, lover of the truth, and above all, a devoted Jehovah's Witness for 51 years. She believes in living a quiet life, minding her own business, and she only gave advice when asked for her opinion on a matter. She was not afraid to tell you the truth, even if it was not what you wanted to hear.

There will be a viewing on Friday March 22nd and Saturday March 23rd in the Evergreen Chapel at the New Tacoma Cemeteries, Funeral Home & crematory. A memorial service for Phyllis will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 6603 88th St. Lakewood, WA 98498.
