Peggy Anne Ross

12/26/1952 ~7/19/24

On July 19th, 2024; the mortal angel Peggy Anne Ross unexpectedly left this earth to join her dearly departed loved ones in god's kingdom.

She graced the world by joining us in form on December 26th, 1952; being born unto William and Bernice Larson in Tacoma Washington, into a humble family as one of 9 children: brothers James (Jimmy), William Jr. (Bill), Lewis (Louie), and sisters Virginia, Beverly, Linda, Donna, and Christina.

Peggy graduated from Wilson High School, class of 1971. She then continued her education by following in the footsteps of sisters Donna and Linda studying cosmetology, beginning a life-long career as a hair stylist. At the age 22 Peggy started her own family, giving birth to her son Ivan in July of 1974 and her daughter Nicole in June of 1975.

On July 4th, 1990 Peggy married the love of her life Franklin Fonda Ross. They enjoyed more than 33 years of loving marriage until his passing in May of this year.

Peggy lived an exemplary life with an impenetrably positive perspective, meeting challenges with a smile regardless of the situational gravity. She displayed kindness and generosity to all she met, finding and making friends wherever she found herself. She spent her days actively loving life, family, friends, and animals alike. Peggy manifested her enthusiasm for giving by doing for others in a host of fashions, enjoying her time with clients doing hair, baking treats for all those that surrounded her, and preparing meals for the elderly and disabled.

Peggy is survived by brother Louie, sisters Linda and Donna, children Ivan and Nicole, step daughter Aimee, grandchildren Broderick, Dylan, Avery, Will and Marijka. The light she brought to this earth will be notably and painfully missed, she was a sparkle of light and love to all those who knew her. Peggy will never be forgotten and will be remembered with the fondest of thoughts for generations.

She will be honored on October 11th, 2024 at 2:00pm with a memorial service being held at New Tacoma Cemetery in the Chambers Creek Chapel located at 9212 Chambers Creek RD West, University Place, WA followed by a reception at the VFW hall in North Tacoma located at 4741 N. Baltimore St. Tacoma, WA.
