In Loving Memory of Paula Radtke
Paula Radtke was a strong, funny and talented woman whose warmth, kindness and wonderful sense of humor touched the lives of so many people. Paula shared 65 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Eugene Radtke. Together, they built a life filled with memories, love, and the many experiences that come with sharing a life together.
Paula had a gift for friendship. She was a great listener, an amazing friend, and truly someone who never met a stranger. She had a way of making people feel welcome and comfortable, turning acquaintances into friends and friends into family. Her genuine interest in others and her ability to connect with people were among the many things that made her so special.
Paula enjoyed playing bridge, painting, and Questers, pursuing the interests and activities that brought her joy. She was a talented woman with a strong spirit and a personality that left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Paula passed away surrounded by her family. She leaves behind her loving husband, Eugene Radtke; her daughter, Kelly Radtke-Russell; her son-in-law, Terry Russell; her grandsons, T.J. and Patrick Summit; and many dear friends who will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, David, in 2004. There is comfort in imagining Paula being reunited with David in heaven, where they can be together again.
Paula leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, friendship and connection. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created, the friendships she nurtured, and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She truly never met a stranger, and the world was a little warmer because she was in it.
Paula will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
