Michael James Williams, 68, passed away on December 31, 2023. He was born February 6, 1955, to Jim and Hilda Williams in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. He graduated from Wilson High School in Tacoma in 1973. After managing and owning butcher shops across the United States, he wanted to be closer to family and moved back to the Tacoma area. He then began work as a meat cutter, which led him to his involvement in the UFCW Local 81, and served as president from 1998-2011. After retiring from UFCW, he went to work for Sunrise Dental as Executive Director of Labor and retired in 2021.

Michael always kept himself busy with projects around the house or on his cars, golfing, and traveling with his family, especially Braxton. His most favorite pastime was spending time with Pam and Blaze.

Michael is survived by his wife, Pamela, stepdaughter Brittany (Zac), grandson, Braxton, and brother, Patrick (Dawn). He is preceded in death by his stepson,
