Margaret Ann (Sue) Ritchie, 91, of Tacoma, Washington, passed away on February 20, 2025.  Born on May 21, 1933, in Tacoma to Cyril Brown Ritchie and Mary Turnbull Ritchie, Sue lived a full life rooted in her love for her job, family, and her beloved dogs.

Sue grew up in Tacoma and graduated from Clover Park High School in 1951.  She began her higher education at Whitman College before transferring to the University of Washington School of Pharmacy.  Her career in pharmacy took her from retail settings to hospital work in California's Bay Area, where she relocated in the early 1960's.  After retiring, Sue returned to Washington, settling in Steilacoom.  An avid traveler, she also found great joy in raising dogs and guiding them through agility trials.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Elizabeth Barker.  She is survived by her brother, William Ritchie; her nieces and nephews, Susan Bice, Karen Bueschke, William Ritchie Jr., Scott Ritchie, and Sharon Haugen; and a host of grandnieces and grandnephews who will cherish her memory.
