Macario Enyaen
Justo
Nov 4, 1926 — Apr 20, 2022
Lakewood
On April 20, 2022, Macario Enyaen Justo, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, went home to be with our Lord surrounded by his family and loved ones. Mac was born on November 4, 1926, in Santa Cruz, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He married the love of his life, Aniceta Justo, on November 23, 1955 and enjoyed almost 63 years of wedded bliss.
While working in Guam, he joined the US Army and served his country during the Korean War where he survived the "Battle of Pork Chop Hill" and two tours of Vietnam before retiring from the Army in 1973 and settling in Lakewood, WA.
Our dad was a humble and generous man who always gave to others in need. He was also a fisherman and "farmer" who spoiled us with fresh fish and bountiful vegetables from his garden. We will miss him with all our hearts, and take comfort knowing he's reunited with our Mom.
He was predeceased by his wife, his parents, Lucas and Eulalia Enyaen Justo, and his sister, Clavelina Taqueban.
He is survived by his children, son Ben (Kala Dralle) Justo, daughter Mina (Ross) Parker, son Garry, daughter Jeniffer (Rick) Hansen and daughter Hope (Ray) Grinsteinner; grandchildren Steven (Madison) Bingham, Carly Bingham, Drew Grinsteinner and Noël Grinsteinner; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and other relatives in WA, HI, CA, VA, and the Philippines.
As faith and culture were very important to our parents, they were longtime members of the United Methodist Church at Lakewood, Filipino-American League of - Pierce County, -Tacoma, Washington, and Filipino-American Community of Puget Sound.
Services with full military honors will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 2pm, at New Tacoma Cemetery, 9221 Chambers Creek Rd W, University Place, WA 98467. Reception to follow at Chambers Creek Chapel.
