Love Leinani Barenaba, age 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 8, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on July 17, 1936 to John Maika'i Keliiliki and Rosalind Kanekapolei Mui Lin Ahue-Keliiliki in Ho'olehua, Moloka'i Hawai'i.

Love Leinani lived a life filled with love, compassion, and joy. She touched the hearts of everyone she encountered and leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured.

Love Leinani Barenaba was a beloved wife, mother, nana, aunty, sister, friend and small business owner, and a pillar of strength within the community. She dedicated her life to her faith in Jesus Christ and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints and made a lasting impact on the lives of others.

She will be lovingly remembered by her spouse Gary Tomlinson; her children Gaye A'alona, Rona Scott, and Ronald Moses Barenaba Jr; grandchildren that know her by "Nana"; and close family members. She will also be deeply missed by dear friends, colleagues, or community members who were fortunate enough to have known her.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Love Leinani Barenaba will be held on Monday, June 12th at the LDS Chapel on 5220 104th St SW Lakewood, WA 98499. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring her legacy.
