Linn Meredith Lucas, also known as Lynn Roberts, peacefully passed away on December 31, 2023, in University Place, Washington, at the age of 80. She was born on May 7, 1943, in Tacoma, Washington. Linn will be deeply missed by her surviving family members, including her sister Joyce Myhre, her children Michael Jardeen, Tracy Lucas, and Justin Lucas, her grandchildren JT Miller, Dylan Jardeen, Jadelynn Lucas, Sona Lucas, and Kena Lucas, her great-grandson Quinton Zhukovskiy-Lucas, as well as her daughters-in-law Colleen Murphy and Annie Lucas. Linn was preceded in death by her father Hugh Roberts, her mother Dorothy Roberts, her brother-in-law Lloyd Myhre, her daughter Lindsey Lucas, her grandson Rocco Conway, her nephew Mark Myhre, and Rocco's grandfather Lyle Conway.

Linn lived a life filled with adventure and resilience, leaving an everlasting impact on all who knew her. She embraced new experiences and called various places home throughout her life, including Oahu, Hawaii, Boise, Ft. Ord, University Place, Steilacoom, and Lakewood. Linn's educational journey led her to graduate from Stadium High School, and she went on to earn both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Social Work from Pacific Lutheran University. Linn dedicated her career to helping battered and abused women and children in the court system, she was fiercely protective of her clients.

Linn had a remarkable ability to connect with others, making friends effortlessly and cherishing the close relationships she cultivated. Her friendships with Joanne and Rose held a special place in her heart, serving as pillars of support and love throughout her life.

Family and friends are invited to gather on January 20, 2024, at 10 AM at New Tacoma Cemetery, located at 9212 Chambers Creek RD W in University Place, WA, to honor and remember Linn. This will be a time to pay tribute to her remarkable life and share cherished memories.
