Larry Thomas Oden, aged 80, of University Place, WA, passed away on March 13, 2024. Born on January 5, 1944, in Los Angeles, CA, Larry was known for his outgoing nature and willingness to help those around him. He cherished his daily walks around the neighborhood, striking up conversations with everyone he met.

A dedicated family man, Larry leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Cynthia Oden, 2 sons, Michael and Joseph Oden, a daughter, Jennifer Fitzpatrick, several beloved grandchildren, and his sister, Mary Manning. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Tom and Betty Oden.

He was a Master Scheduler for prestigious companies like Bechtel, Boeing, and Raytheon. In his free time, Larry enjoyed bicycle riding, gardening, and engaging in home improvement projects.

A Celebration of Life for Larry Oden is scheduled, with details to be announced. The New Tacoma funeral home in University Place, WA, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Larry's warm personality, commitment to his family, and professional accomplishments will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
