In Loving Memory of Elder Kenneth Andre Jefferson

With heavy hearts and unwavering faith in God's promises, we announce the passing of Elder Kenneth Andre Jefferson, who entered eternal rest on May 24, 2026, at the age of 60.

Born on July 28, 1965, in Tacoma, Washington, Kenneth spent most of his life in the city he proudly called home. A devoted man of faith, Kenneth loved the Lord with all his heart and dedicated much of his life to serving God's people. As an Elder at Word of Life Bible Fellowship Church of God in Christ (COGIC) in Tacoma, he faithfully ministered to others, sharing the love of Christ through his words, actions, and unwavering commitment to his church family.

Kenneth was a proud graduate of Stadium High School in Tacoma, Washington. He was a hardworking man who spent many years as an industrial worker before retiring. While he took pride in his work, his greatest joys in life were found in his faith, his family, and the relationships he built throughout the years.

Those who knew Kenneth will remember him as a caring, honest, and hardworking man with a wonderful sense of humor. He had a gift for making people laugh and bringing joy into a room. In his younger years, he was athletic and competitive, a spirit that stayed with him throughout his life.

Kenneth was a passionate sports fan who proudly supported the Los Angeles Chargers and rarely missed an opportunity to talk football. He was also an avid golf enthusiast and a devoted admirer of Kobe Bryant and the game of basketball. He appreciated style and took pride in his appearance, often dressed in sharp suits and adding to his extensive sneaker collection. Whether watching a game, spending time with loved ones, or enjoying one of his favorite home-cooked meals prepared by his beloved wife, Kenneth found joy in life's simple blessings.

Above all else, Kenneth cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose love and guidance will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Waymond Jefferson; his mother, Joann Jefferson; and his brother, Michael Jefferson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Yulanda Jefferson; his children, Darrius Washington, Miychneka Cambre, Kyra Levier, Jovan Guest, and Devontae Pauline; his beloved grandchildren, Jhania Moses, A'layjah Moses, Kylee Levier, Charlyn Guest, Kameron Levier, and Journee Moses; his siblings, Richard Jefferson and Kimberly Jefferson; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, and dear friends whose lives were blessed by his presence.

While our hearts mourn his passing, we rejoice in knowing that Kenneth's faith has become sight and that he is now resting in the presence of the Lord he so faithfully served. His legacy of faith, love, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
