He was an active member of Tacoma Central Presbyterian Church and spent his time reading the Bible, gardening, watching western movies, and watching sports - especially baseball.
He is survived by his wife, Sadug Jin, his children and their spouses, Mikyung and Gyu Cheon Park, Seonghak Kim and Jeongmi Lim, Hyunghee and Johnny Guest, Seongcheol Kim, and his grandchildren, Vera Yesel Park, Brian Joon Park, Jiwon Kim, Jiyou kim, Joshua Guest, Hannah Guest, and Sarah Guest.
