Forever Adored… Ms. Katrina Simon

Katrina Ann Simon passed courageously on December 18, 2022 to be with her father and mother, Willie and Odessa Simon, Grandmother Oreila Arentte, and Aunt Claudia. Katrina is survived by her two siblings Angelina (Sister) and Michael (Brother).

Those who knew and loved her affectionately called her Trina. She was born in Iran and spent her adult life in Tacoma and attended St. Charles Parochial School in her early years.

Trina was a remarkable woman who spent her career as CNA and loved the work of helping people. She was compassionate, kind, and humble inspiring all who met her because she was a kind and loving person, without judgement. She was an avid reader and spent her time building her own personal library that would impress any book lover. Not only did she read every book, but her favorites were mystery genres as she loved a good puzzle.

Trina had many hobbies but her most favorite was enjoying embroidery, needlepoint, and crochet. She was passionate about her family and friends often inviting guests for luncheons because she loved to cook and bake whatever they wanted because she was just like that…a kind and generous lady.

You could find Trina watching her Hallmark Movies with her Pomeranian sitting right beside her watching intently her favorite shows.  Her favorite time of the year was Christmas to get busy in the kitchen with her family and friends…

Trina will be laid to rest on December 27 ^th at New Tacoma Cemetery, Funeral Home & Crematory , 9212 Chambers Creek Rd. W., University Place, WA. 98467, at (253) 564-1311.  The service will be 11:00-1:00 in the Cemetery Chapel.

Trina will be greatly missed and Forever Adored….
