In Loving Memory of Kathleen (Bone) Marguerite Kliewer
September 25, 1952 – August 4, 2025

Kathleen (Bone) Marguerite Kliewer passed away suddenly on August 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and curiosity. She was 72 years old.

Born in Necedah, Wisconsin, Kathleen grew up in Tacoma, Washington, where she developed deep roots and lifelong friendships. She attended Aquinas Academy, graduating in 1970, and later earned her bachelor's degree from Pacific Lutheran University.

A strong woman of God, Kathleen's life was grounded in her faith. She was known for her love of long walks and heartfelt conversations, always eager to ask deep, thoughtful questions. Her thirst for knowledge led her to explore a wide range of topics with curiosity and joy, often sparking enlightening discussions with those around her.

Kathleen is survived by her devoted husband, Peter Kliewer; her children, Jesse Jorgensen (Stephanie), Brooke Howes (Richard), and Kyle Hartman (Markayla); her beloved grandchildren, Addy, Brynn, and Lily; and her fur babies, Andy and Cooper. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who were blessed by her presence.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, August 29th, at 1:00 PM at New Tacoma Cemeteries, located at 9212 Chambers Creek Road West, University Place, WA 98467.

Kathleen's life was a testament to the power of faith, family, and lifelong learning. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
