Judith Ann
Hancock
Sep 28, 1937 — May 13, 2022
Tacoma
Judith was born Judith Campbell on Sept. 28, 1937 in Seattle, WA. In 1956, right out of high school, her life began when she met the love of her life, Harry James Hancock. Harry was in the Navy and the Air Force where he retired. Traveling from the Mideast to Germany, life was a great adventure.
She ventured into motherhood where they had five children: Michael (Darlene), Debbie (Steve) both deceased, Ken (Julie), David (Sally), and Cindy. Having nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, her loss is felt by many.
Since her husband's passing, Judy remained a devoted mother, widow of 42 years, holding down the fort as she was the glue that held the family together. Judy was kind, soft-spoken, and generous. She always had an open door to her home, caring for those needed some love.
In her aging years, Judy enjoyed having fun at the bingo halls where many enjoyed accompanying her and playing the slots--whatever it took for that smile to shine.
Judy's memory will always shine bright in our hearts. Her urn will be placed at New Tacoma Cemetery and a private celebration of life will be held by the family.
Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes. Mom, you are finally with Dad. Godspeed, Mom, until we meet again. We love you.
