Joshua Wayne Hyde was born on January 23, 1981 to Wayne Ray and Kim Dea Hyde (both deceased) in Muncie, Indiana.  He grew up in Nebraska, graduating from Grand Island High School and becoming a lifelong fan of Cornhusker football.  Joshua migrated to Oklahoma for college, graduating from Saint Gregory's University.  Oklahoma agreed with Joshua and he took a position as a Claims Specialist with State Farm starting in 2002.  Eventually he met his future wife, Katie, and they married on September 4, 2010 in Owasso, Oklahoma.  A few years later, he was State Farm transferred him to Tacoma where he remained until his death.  Joshua loved Dungeons and Dragons, professional wrestling, puzzles, Legos, and all the good things life offered.  On August 5, 2022, at the age of 41, he passed away due to complications from Covid-19 pneumonia.  He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Hyde of Owasso, Oklahoma and his daughter, Megan Hyde of Springfield, Missouri.

Joshua's life will be celebrated at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 9, 2022 at New Tacoma Cemetery.
