Joshua was born on February 9, 1985, in San Pedro, CA and passed away suddenly on August 16, 2025, in Tacoma, WA. He is survived by his mother, Angela Gibson and father, Steven Auborn; brothers Ryan and Cory, uncle Frank (Michelle), aunt Monica, numerous cousins and many friends.

Joshua lived in Southern California until he was 14, when we made the final move to Lakewood. He attended Hudtloff Middle School where he played Baseball. Then off to Lakes High School where he was a member of the football team. He graduated in 2003 and joined several of his family as a Lakes Grad (Frank, Angela, Monica, Bryan and Kenny).

He worked in different jobs after graduating but his most rewarding was being a SPED Para Educator for the Clover Park School District at Lochburn Middle School and then at Clover Park High School.

He loved music and learned to play drums. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and river rafting. Although he struggled for a few years, he was making a comeback. Can only wished he would have succeeded.

Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willam and Anneliese Gibson, his paternal grandparents, Leo and Janice Auborn, aunt Pam Auborn, uncles Craig Auborn and Roy Gibson, and cousin Julie Westfall. He will be interred with his grandparents William and Anneliese Gibson at New Tacoma Cemetery.
