Obituary

John Johnson was born on December 16th, 1934 to his parents James and Grace Johnson in Zanesville, Ohio.  John had two older brothers, Bob and Don, and is survived by his only sister Connie.  He was a loving father of 7 children, 9 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren.  He was an uncle to 9 nieces and nephews, three in Canada, one in Arizona, and one in Idaho but the rest live here in Pierce and Snohomish counties.

John retired as Sergeant First Class from the United States Army in 1976.  He was a Paratrooper and served 3 tours in the Vietnam War and 2 tours in Korea.  He loved to hike, fish, and hang out with his retired military buddies at the local donut shop where they would talk politics all day long.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years Young Johnson and by all that knew him.  He was funny and loving, and he had such a great smile.  May God take him by the hand and lead him into Heavens' Gates where we will all be together again someday.
