John (JP) George Pittman was born on November 14th, 1959, and passed on June 16th, 2025. JP graduated from Wilson High School in 1978, where he excelled in football and baseball. He went on to attend and play football at Olympic College in Bremerton.

In high school, JP started working at Safeway, where he moved up to management. He left Safeway to take a position with the Pierce County Roads Dept. where he worked for many years.

JP was a talented and avid bowler and enjoyed playing slow-pitch softball. He loved golfing and playing fantasy football with friends and family. He was an enthusiastic collector of sports memorabilia and a fanatical UW Husky fan. He loved rooting for the Seahawks, Mariners, and Dodgers.

JP is preceded in death by his father John, beloved mother Linda, sister Kari, nephew Little Richie, Uncle Chuck, Aunt Caroline, and Grandparents George, Monica, Chet, and Judy. He is survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Godmother Colleen, and faithful companion Sophie, who will all love and cherish his memory.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the dedicated staff at Agility Rehabilitation for their care and compassion.
