Jeffrey Brian Birnel
February 6, 1960 – June 14, 2025

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of Jeffrey Brian Bimel. He will forever remain in our hearts.

For most of his adult life, Jeff worked in the hardware industry, helping contractors and architects with the specific and intricate materials required. His last position before he retired was with Washington Architectural Hardware (WAH).

Jeff moved from Tacoma, WA, after he married, to Tonasket, WA, a small, rural town, with the love of his life and two beloved poodles, Geisha II and Casey. There, on three acres of land, with a magnificent garden, Jeff found his personal paradise. He truly experienced heaven on earth. Together, he and his wife became part of the community and made wonderful new friends.

Jeff deeply loved his family, his beloved wife, daughter, granddaughters, sister, niece, great-nephew, and close friends. He was a good man with a keen sense of humor and an extraordinary gift for conversation. May he rest in peace, knowing how deeply he was loved.

Jeff is survived by his devoted wife, Zenada Delos Reyes Bimel, and his cherished daughter, Lauren Hahn. He was a proud grandfather to Ruby and Sylvie Hahn and a loving brother to Stacy Birnel. He is also survived by his niece, Corinne Bimel Pena, and great-nephew, Kylo Earl Dahlin.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Corinne Birnel, who passed before him.
