Jeffery Daniel Hauger died suddenly and unexpectedly on March 31st, 2026. He is survived by his daughter Niobe, his mother, his brothers Benjamin, Matthew and Patrick, and his sister Colleen.
He was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 26th,1976. He moved with his family to Pennsylvania. There he grew up and went all the way through school, finally graduating from Penn State University. He was always adventurous and moved to Colorado for a few years simply because he loved the mountains there. He then moved to Gig Harbor, Washington. Jeff was unusually talented at creative and cutting-edge computer design and media streaming. He quickly secured a position at The Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington in the media department before accepting a position at Oregon University heading the live streaming of University events and other events of interest to the University community. He also loved working independently and always had a side business doing web designs and computer consultations. He finally went into business full time for himself, creating a vibrant music venue in Eugene, Oregon. The last few years he worked flipping houses and learned to enjoy working with his hands.
Jeff loved the outdoors and loved hiking, skiing, and spending time at the ocean.
He will be lied to rest at New Tacoma Cemetery in University Place, Washington close to the Puget Sound, which he loved.
