In Loving Memory of Janet Jensen

Our newest star, Janet Jensen, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in Tacoma, Washington, on July 27, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born October 12, 1946, Janet, lovingly known as GG—short for Grandma Grandma—lived her life with a fierce heart, a generous spirit, and a mischievous twinkle in her eye.

She is survived by her two daughters, one son, ten cherished grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her vibrant spirit. She adored and spoiled each one with love, laughter, and the occasional sassy wisdom only GG could deliver.

Janet was known for her fried chicken, her apple pie, and her love of flowers. She delighted in buying and planting flowers for all that would let her. Janet's love for her family was boundless, and her home was always open to those in need.

Her legacy lives on in the laughter of her grandchildren, the wisdom she passed to her children, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. In every petal that catches the sun, and in every memory that brings a smile. GG was one of a kind—a true original—her spirit will never fade. She is deeply missed, but her memory will live in the hearts of all who loved her.
