Ileana Warden Obituary

Born in Panama City, Ileana grew up in a close-knit family and later became a successful businesswoman who helped manage and grow her family's farm in Panama. During her husband's 33-year U.S. Navy career, she lived throughout the United States and abroad, developing a lifelong love of travel and adventure.

Ileana was an artist who enjoyed stained glass and oil painting, and she remained passionate about education, earning her associate's degree at age 82. She was devoted to her faith in God and supported veterans and organizations serving children in need.

Ileana is survived by her daughters, Arlene Warden, Gigi Zenk, and former daughter-in-law Lori Munger; her grandson, Tomas Warden Zenk; and her partner of 10 years, Walter Cothran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cmdr. Kenneth J. Warden, and their daughter, Gilda Warden.

A memorial mass followed by a reception will be held at St. Leo Parish on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 12:10 p.m.
