Helene K. Williamson, 98, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 29, 2023, at the Eliseo retirement community, formerly known as the Tacoma Lutheran Home. She was born in Tacoma Washington, on March 10, 1925, to Karl and Elsie Koehler and was raised in Orting Washington, along with her older sister Louise Marie and younger brother Karl, on the family's world-famous bulb farm.

After graduating from Orting High School, she moved to Tacoma and attended Puget Sound College briefly before meeting and marrying Hugh M Williamson at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church in 1947. She continued being an active member, doner and volunteer for her church and her community throughout her entire adult life.

With her family off to college, Helene became a small business owner with "Helene's Gifts" and proudly operated the charming shop in Westgate for several years. After "retiring", she became a loyal volunteer of the American Cancer Society's "Discovery" shop in the Proctor district for the next 25 years. In addition, she was a regular volunteer and judge at the Flower Building at the Puyallup Fair and was a Blue-Ribbon winner for her beautiful Fuchsia and Geranium plants. When she started living at the Tacoma Lutheran Home (Eliseo) in 1996, she became a tireless volunteer with "Helping Hands"; a retirement community donation organization.

Helene was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Williamson (1996) and is survived by her daughter Robyn (Jason) and son Craig, her three grandchildren: Kelley Williamson, Elise Christine Williamson and Cole Williamson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
