After a life filled with traveling, meeting new people, making Washington her home, and creating long lasting memories and friendships, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the age of 91, Helen Julia Irene Enlow's lord and savior, whispered in her ear and called her home to rest in the kingdom of God.

On August 8, 1933, Helen Julia Irene (Dawkins) Enlow was born to Lillian Edna (Belford) and Arthur Eugene Dawkins in Washington, DC.

Helen was baptized Catholic and received confirmation names Martha Veronica, to become Helen Julia Irene Martha Veronica Dawkins.

As a young woman Helen worked in banks, and would go on to run a successful alterations business, which primarily served service men and women, until retirement.

Helen is survived by her children Darlene Woodland, Constance Cobb, and Kevin Enlow (Shelly). Her grandchildren, Stacy Woodland, Jovana Cobb, Tiffany Woodland, Andrea Cobb, Savannah Enlow, and Krystal Enlow.  Along with a host of great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Helen at New Tacoma Funeral Home, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
