Harold N Solheim

Tacoma, Washington - Harold N. Solheim, 93, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026. He was born Aug 27, 1932 in Fillmore N.D.

Harold lived a full & vibrant life marked by his dedication to his family, friends & community. He graduated from Lincoln High in 1950 & later graduated from The University of Puget Sound in 1960 with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 - 1956, before embarking on his career with the Internal Revenue Service from 1960 - 1987. Harold was a man of many passions, a lifetime member of the Eagles, Elks & VFW. He was an avid bowler, horseshoe player & he enjoyed building things with his hands. His favorite pastime was playing Pull-Tabs at the 2121 tavern & visiting with his friends & family. Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marian Solheim. He is survived by his daughter Linda Solheim & her husband Sean Hummel as well as many nieces & nephews.

A funeral service will be held Monday June 8, 2026, at 10 AM at New Tacoma Funeral Home in University Place, followed by a graveside ceremony at Fir Lane Cemetery, Spanaway. A reception from 1- 4 will follow at the 2121 Tavern. Harold was a kind and loving man, he will be missed by many!
