George Michael Lonzak passed away on July 27th at age 68 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on December 22, 1954 and lived his entire life in Tacoma, Washington.

George was married to the love of his life for 39 years.  He is survived by his wife Jane, daughter Stephanie Duffy (James), brother Richard Lonzak (Colleen), nephews Kyle Lonzak (Joanna) and Ryan Lonzak (Alyssa).  Preceding him was his mother Edith and father Zigmond.

George attended Wilson High School (1973) and University of Puget Sound (1981).  He worked for the Pierce County Superior Court system for 32 years prior to retiring.

George was the happiest when boating in Puget Sound with family and friends and spending time at Hood Canal at our family cabin.

We will be having a casual celebration of life at New Tacoma Cemetery on August 3rd 11:00 at the Chambers Creek Chapel/Reception area.
