Douglas Gale Jones of University Place, WA passed on May 22, 2023, at the age of 66, at UWMC. Doug was born in Lincoln, NE on December 27, 1956, to the late Marlys and Gale Jones of Tacoma, WA. After graduating from Stadium High in1975, Doug went on to work in security for the next 40 years.

He married Christy Arrington from University Place, WA in 1987. They raised their son Nicholas and shared many happy years camping, hunting, fishing and enjoying the PNW. Doug is survived by his siblings Craig Jones, Sheri Karanasos, Michelle Jones, Kevin Jones, and brother-in-law Mike Arrington. His nieces and nephews always brought joy to Doug.

A Celebration of Life will be held at New Tacoma's Chambers Creek Chapel on June 23, 2023 at 2:00pm.
