Donald (Don)
Williams
Sep 13, 1927 — Jul 13, 2025
Tacoma
Born on September 13, 1927, in Watertown, South Dakota, Don answered the call to serve following the bombing of Pearl Harbor by enlisting in the United States Army Air Corps. He proudly served his country for 26 years and is a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Following his military retirement, Don continued his dedication to public service by working as a civilian for the General Services Administration for another 20 years. During this time, he also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Puget Sound. Later, Don pursued a career in real estate and enjoyed working part-time with his wife, Connie, at their jewelry store.
A man of deep faith, Don lived according to biblical principles in his roles as a husband, father, and "Papa." He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Connie, and his children: Patrick Williams, Angel Morton, YoungHe Houston, and Susanna Keilman. He was a cherished Papa to 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Until his final breath, Don exemplified strength, love, and integrity—raising the bar for what it means to be a man, husband and a father. He is deeply loved and will be forever missed.
