On May 11, 1950, a daughter was born unto David Hunt and Katherine Bryant in Edinburg, TX. They named her Diana Hunt. On January 16, 2026, Diana Hunt Hines was called home to be with her father. Her tasks on Earth were completed.

Diana leaves behind her loving husband of 56 years, Michael C. Hines. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and son Michael Shawn Hines. Diana leaves behind her sisters Claudia, Emma, Yvonne, Annette, and brothers Alonzo, Jonathan, Ivan Jr, and Maxwell. Diana was also blessed to have her great grandchildren, Logan and Aaliyah, god children Lynn, Marlissa, John, and Matthew. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
