Born: Hudson, South Dakota. At the age of 5, the family relocated to Tacoma WA.

Dawn worked as a healthcare worker in her early adult life. Later in her working years, Dawn worked at NAPA Auto Parts and Brown & Hailey.

Dawn loved being a mother and homemaker, caring for her children, grandchildren, and nephews, which gave her much happiness. Dawn also enjoyed traveling to see family, visiting many areas around the United States.

Her husband John, her parents, parents-in-law, sisters, brother and a grandson preceded Dawn in death. She leaves behind, 6 children, Theresa, John (Angie), Jerome (Trish), Jeff, Ann (Mitchell), and Jason (Beth). 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren.

After the death of her husband in 2004, Dawn moved to Pemberton Creek Condominiums where she enjoyed her life there with family and her neighbors.

Services will be held February 4, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4520 E McKinley Ave, Tacoma, WA 98404, with rosary at 10:30, mass at 11am; Burial at New Tacoma Cemetery at 1pm, with reception immediately following.
