David Lee Mercer was born in California on April 18th, 1930, and passed away peacefully at his home in University Place, surrounded by family, on September 11, 2023.

Dave was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He proudly ended his service career as a staff sergeant.

A longtime resident of Tacoma, Dave is predeceased by his wife, AnnaBelle, and his daughter, Nancy. He is survived by his daughter, Carol (Dave), and sons Gary (Julie) and James (Sandie) along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly.

David will be laid to rest on September 29, 2023, at New Tacoma Cemetery.
