Cynthia Ella Smith, at the age of 48, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at her residence in Auburn, WA. She was born on May 11, 1977, in Tacoma, WA. She was a 1996 graduate of Clover Park High School.

Cynthia was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and dear friend to many. Becoming a parent was her greatest gift in life. She loved her children unconditionally and supported them on their life's journeys.

She had a profound love for her family and friends. She was someone who made friends easily and once a friend, friends for a lifetime. She loved making people laugh. She was quick-witted and always had a smart comeback or joke at the tip of her tongue. She was creative and loved working on crafts and being behind the camera. She and her children spent many hours doing crafts together.

She is preceded in death by grandparents Stanley & Ora Stearns, Cliff & Elma Rand, aunts Janet Anderson & Charlene Homad, and uncles Stanley Stearns Jr & Guy Rand.

She is survived by her children, Justin, Mathew, Autumn, and Emma; her parents, Glen & Valerie Rand; her siblings, Bridget (Tua) Siofaga, Jason (Samantha) Hilde, and Michelle Rand; four nieces, five nephews, seven aunts, nine uncles, and her fur baby, Olive.
