Cheryl Ann (Wilson) Warden, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 27, 2023 in University Place, Washington. Cheryl was born in Port Angeles, Washington on June 17, 1944. She was the only child of Fred and Alta Wilson. She graduated from Port Angeles High School and attended the University of Puget Sound for a few years before she began working various jobs including working for the Department of the Army as an office assistant for a dental surgeon where she received a certificate of recognition for her outstanding performance.
In 1968, Cheryl married Morgan Mitchell and had two children, Kristin, and Michael Mitchell . After the end of that marriage, she married Jerry "Nick" Warden in 1978 and became a stepmother to Julie and Jeff Warden. She did an amazing job of blending the family together.
Cheryl began her career in banking in which received several acknowledgements for her outstanding customer service. She lived in University Place, Washington for over 50 years and built a lifetime of friendships along the way. She attended Olympic View Baptist church with her husband where they worshipped and served together. She was loving and generous to family, friends, and those in need. Her life was marked by her overwhelming generosity and unconditional love for all.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her first husband, Morgan Mitchell, her parents, Fred and Alta Wilson and her stepdaughter, Julie Warden. She leaves behind her husband, Nick Warden, daughter, Kristin Mitchell, son, Mike Mitchell, stepson, Jeff Warden, granddaughter, Kora Mitchell, sister-in-law, Susie Esqueda, several cousins, nieces, nephews and a thousand friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be May 6, 2023 at 2:00pm at Olympic View Baptist Church. 4707 Elwood Dr. W. University Place, WA 98466.
Donations in remembrance of Cheryl may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
