Cheri was a positive influence on the lives she touched and a person who gave a lot of herself to help those around her – both people and animals.

Born to Lloyd and Ruth Sehlbach, she grew up in south Tacoma and spent many summers working in Westport, Washington – a place that was always special to her.  After graduating from Foss High School, she married and raised 2 children, dedicating herself to her family, whom she adored.

She was a true Pacific Northwesterner who loved the rain.  She enjoyed shaping the environment of her home and was especially fond of decorating for seasons and holidays.  Cheri loved picnicking, walking, and enjoying "God's country" anywhere around the waters of Puget Sound.  She enjoyed going to concerts and traveling to visit her children and vacation with her husband.

Cheri was very fond of her pet cats and liked to care for any animal she could help.  She loved art and especially music, which brought her great pleasure in the saddest and happiest times of her life.  She believed in the importance of taking time every day to appreciate the gifts of life.

She was preceded in death by her brother Mark Sr.  Survivors include her soul mate and husband of 46 years, Mike; her brother, Dana (Kelly); her children, Nicholas (Erin) and Crystal (Patrick); her grandson Kayden, and numerous extended family members.

Her family intends to hold a memorial for her in the near future.
